If you have a Qualifying Life event, changes can be made on Core-CT and the required documentation must be provided within 31 days of the qualifying event. LOG-IN TO CORE-CT and select Self-Service > Benefits > Life Events. The State of Connecticut is so happy to have you. We offer a variety of comprehensive medical and supplemental benefits for our employees, all geared toward your health and overall well-being. Open Enrollment occurs annually in May.

This is when retirees can make changes to their dental coverage or add/drop dependents to take effect on July 1st. If you are non-Medicare eligible, you can also change your medical plan. It is important to consider changes in your healthcare needs and whether your doctors are in-network. If you take no action, you will remain enrolled in your current medical and dental plans.
